- John Walker died on May 7, 2011, of liver cancer at age 67.
- Their big hit "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" was originally recorded by Frankie Valli. His version wasn't a huge success, but the Walker's version hit #13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and topped the British charts.
