Angel Aijia Tang is an actress and director based in New York. Born and raised in Shanghai, China, Aijia started acting on stage at a very young age. She did her acting training at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting, Atlantic Acting Studio, and NYU programs. She is best known for her role in the short film " How I Learned To Die," directed by Manya Glassman and executive produced by Spike Lee, which premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival and was selected as a semi-finalist for Student Oscar. She starred in the Stella Adler Studio Film "Antigone", which was selected for the Cannes Short Film Festival
For her life outside of Acting, Aijia is also a Junior Olympic Fencer and is a professional fencer who represented China in various international competitions. She directed/set designed/light designed for Moses Brown Theater's production of "Proof" and Stage Managed for Moses Brown Theater's production of "Grease" the musical.
