Biography

Alan August is an L.A. native, grew up and went to school at UC Irvine, with degrees in biology and chemistry, but with years of private training in voice and acting. Alan is now a voice-over artist, focusing on audio books and other narration. He performed in opera as a tenor soloist for over 20 years and as a singer-songwriter and cabaret singer for almost as long. He has also been seen onstage and in screen performances. He recorded the role of "Captain George Nolly" in "The Things You Miss", a one-man musical, for New Musicals, Inc's "So Proudly We Hailed" series honoring veterans, dramatizing their stories, in Oct, 2021.
