Heather Konowal

Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Heather is an actor whose career spans both stage and screen. As a child, she developed an early fascination with human behavior while watching criminal and civil trials at the county court house where her father worked. After spending much of her career in the theater, she has spent the past decade building her film and television career in Los Angeles. When she's not on set, Heather enjoys being immersed in the wilderness. One of the defining experiences of her life was a 26-day trek through the Himalayas, where she completed the final six days solo after her father accompanied their ill trekking mate on an emergency evacuation. Whether in a courtroom, on a stage, deep in the wilderness, or immersed in the pages of a screenplay, Heather has always been drawn to places that reward careful observation and invite deep reflection.

Heather earned a B.F.A. from New York University in Acting, studied for six years at Playhouse West under Jeff Goldblum and Chris Liebe, and later completed an MA in theater from CSU: Northridge, and a PhD from UC San Diego in theater. She has also taught theater at the university level.
