Akansha Sharma is an Indian actress who primarily works in Hindi television. She is known for her lead role Sakina in the serial "Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai" (2021), Alka Pradhan in the serial "Kavya Ek Jazba Ek Junoon" (2023) and Paro in the serial "Bade Ghar Ki Choti Bahu" (2025). She embarked on her career in the vibrant city of Mumbai in 2016, initially to pursue her passion for dance. She had the privilege of assisting renowned choreographers like Saroj Khan, Remo D'Souza, and Dharmesh, and even participated in various dance shows.
As her journey progressed, Akansha transitioned into acting, making her debut in the 2017 show "Ishq Ka Rang Safed." She gained widespread recognition with her role as Babita in "Happu Ki Ultan Paltan," which opened doors to modeling opportunities as well.
In 2021, Akansha's career took a significant leap when she starred as lead role Sakina Mirza in the show "Aur Bhai Kya Chal Raha Hai," earning a nomination for the ITA Award in 2021. She later returned to Mumbai and delivered notable performances in shows like "Madam Sir," "Piya Abhimani, " "Kavya Ek Jazba Ek Junoon" where she portrayed the character of Alka Pradhan, the eldest daughter-in-law of the family.
