Biography

Chris Phoenix is the founder and CEO of Phoenix Media Group Inc. and a senior digital content executive. His work as an Executive Producer and Director helped him shape Phoenix into a multi-disciplinary transmedia company responsible for all phases of project development and execution, fusing creative agency, entertainment studio, production company and post-production studio into one streamlined entity. His initiatives include development of original content, branded entertainment, and integrated marketing campaigns.

Phoenix began by imagining Maxim Magazine with a video division, which he led, and in turn helped the title to grow from print primacy to digital domination; breaking the barriers of how branded content was imagined, produced and distributed. His rich canon of practices and singular insights drove him toward a new model for the future.

His expertise in ideation and content creation extends to both sides of the process, original and branded content, and has yielded undeniable results, including Emmy nominations, ADDYs, PromaxBDAs, Valencia, Effie, OMMAs, CLIOs, and One Show awards.
