Stas Svetlichnyi

Stanislav Svetlichny was born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He began writing short stories in childhood to entertain his classmates, eventually gaining local acclaim when one of his pieces won the Young Writer of the Year competition in his hometown.

After graduating from Saint Petersburg State University, Stanislav immigrated to Los Angeles in 1999 to pursue his passion for filmmaking. In 2008, he directed his first short film, One Night Stand, and has since committed himself to developing his voice as a writer and director.

In 2024, he wrote and produced a series of commercials titled Different Perfect for a luxury limousine company, and also produced the documentary Easy Money. One Day, which explores the world of the private transportation industry. That same year, he wrote, produced, and directed the short film Lia-a dark thriller that serves as a proof of concept for his upcoming TV series Evol Inc.

In 2025, Stanislav continued his momentum by writing, producing, and directing The Trade, a tense and provocative short film that deepens his exploration of morally complex characters and shadowy power dynamics.
