"Indira" is a nickname she was given when visiting her relatives in India.

Her song "Niemals geb ich auf ich" (aka "Mein Glück"), which she wrote and composed on her own before becoming a member of Bro'Sis, became a fan favorite when she was featured singing it on Popstars (2000) in the contestants' shared home, accompanying herself on the piano. It was later remade into an English-language song, "Peace of Soul", that was featured on Bro'Sis' debut album.

Her sister Jenny is a flight attendant.

During Popstars (2000), she and Hila Bronstein discovered they were living less than 500 meters apart in Frankfurt/Main yet had never met before.

Her father is a former teacher for Latin, history, social studies, political science, chess and ethics who used to teach at the school Indira attended. Her mother is an interpreter for northern Indian languages.
