Dimitris Dimitropoulos (aka Jim Quorthon) is a Greek filmmaker, screenwriter, and author whose work explores the fragile boundary between consciousness and fear. With a background in film directing, he crafts stories that fuse psychological realism with metaphysical undercurrents, often blurring the line between inner trauma and external reality.
His short film The Darkest Desire (2017) - a dialogue-free psychological thriller - was noted for its atmospheric minimalism and its haunting exploration of guilt and identity.Building upon that cinematic world, Dimitropoulos has been developing his first feature-length screenplay, expanding the same psychological universe through themes of isolation, memory, and redemption.
As an author, his fantasy works The Eye of the Hawk and The Wolves of Mil combine mythological structure with philosophical reflection, revealing the same fascination with human duality that defines his films.
