Kako Tufano
- Producer
Francisco Tufano, known professionally as Kako, is a Brazilian film producer and founder of Sweet Filmes, an audiovisual production company based in São Paulo, Brazil. He has built an extensive career producing content across advertising, music videos, and narrative cinema.
His landmark project is Iradoh! (2025), an 18-minute short film co-produced alongside KondZilla and Africa Creative. The film accompanies the second album of Brazilian artist Hodari and tells the story of three brothers who take radically different paths after their mother disappears - one becomes a musician, one a lawyer, and one falls into crime. Directed by Kaique Alves and Thiago Eva, the film blends magical realism with the aesthetics of Brazil's urban periphery. Iradoh! was nominated for the Latin Grammy Award for Best Long Form Music Video in 2025. The film was also selected for the ARFF Barcelona to Berlin Red Carpet in 2026.
