Elliot Bonser

Elliot Bonser is an Australian writer, director, and producer based on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. His work is defined by emotionally grounded, character-driven storytelling exploring family, and redemption within the Australian social landscape. He is the writer and director of the upcoming feature, Bella's Room and the creator of the television drama in development Raised, a spin off of Bella's Room. Bonser is also developing Digger, a powerful feature about an Aboriginal Vietnam veteran's fight for justice and dignity. His original teleplay series Humour Me follows an autistic comedian who unwittingly begins foretelling crimes in Brisbane's underbelly, becoming entangled with Australia's intelligence services through prophetic jokes disguised as comedy. Bonser's filmmaking combines authenticity, moral depth, and cinematic realism-crafting stories that challenge, uplift, and resonate long after the credits.
