Biography

Kai Wong was born with blue eyes. As baby Kai grew into a toddler, this shaded into light brown. With the onset of pubescence at around 11, the light brown further darkened into a deep rich mahogany, and settled into dark brown with the completion of puberty.

Discovered in New York City by grand dame Jadin Wong, celebrity and socialite extraordinaire, who immediately signed him up after hearing him audition as Marius in "Empty Chairs at empty tables" from "Les Miserables". Started his U.S. film career as her protégé.

Withdrew from Stanford due to extreme poverty. Even after withdrawing, he sometimes receives bills from the university to this day because they "can't seem to get him out of their system".

Graduated with Presidential Honors from Dartmouth College in Film and Theatre, in the same class year as Meryl Streep's son.

Paternal grandfather fought in the Northern Expedition with Yat-sen Sun from Canton to Peking in order to establish democracy in a unified China.

Student of Ang Lee and Sean Penn. Trained in the Minimalist, Deconstructionist methods of Dramatic Acting under the late Franco-Swiss director Claude Stratz. He met Claude Stratz in Brooklyn at a Comédie-Française performance of "Imaginary Invalid" by Molière. Screenwriting student of Maurice Rapf, "Prince of MGM studios".

His personal name (in Chinese ideograms, this is represented by the 3rd character in a sequential series) is the first repetition of Qin Shi Huang's personal name within the clan after about 100 generations, after more than 4000 years.
