Davidevincenzo Salmeri

Davide Salmeri (Palermo, 1984) is an independent documentary filmmaker. He combines professional skills in visual communication with a profound spiritual sensitivity, creating projects that tell stories of faith, humanity, and redemption. In 2009, he wrote and directed Villa dell'Abate, promoting the cultural and social aspects of the Villabate area and discovering the abandoned 18th-century catacombs. He subsequently directed Un angelo in vespa, a documentary film about the Servant of God, Father Vittorio Salmeri. With the format Storie dell'Anima and other productions, he aims to highlight inspiring figures and realities, intertwining documentary filmmaking and visual storytelling. Il Medico delle Anime is his first feature-length documentary on a religious theme.
