Andre Valenzuela Marin is a highly versatile creative professional and skilled Assistant Director known for their exceptional organisational expertise and dynamic approach across film, writing and media production. With a strong background in both creative development and on-set management, they seamlessly bridge the gap between artistic vision and practical execution.

A graduate of the Bachelor of Entertainment Business Management program at JMC Academy, Andre's career has quickly gained momentum, marked by key roles in ambitious projects. They recently served as 1st Assistant Director on the forthcoming web series 7000 Deliveries (2025) and the music videos for Laurette Chala's "MOKONZI." They also previously held the 1st AD position on the short film Jack Churchill (2023). This extensive experience in the AD department underscores a reputation for keeping complex sets running efficiently, including work as 2nd AD on the short film Frances (2024).

Andre is also an active writer and director, showcasing their creative depth. They are the Lead Writer and 1st AD for the short film Contagious (2025), and previously wrote, directed, and edited the short episode extract REQUIEM (2024). Their writing credits include the 30-minute comedy pilot Happy Cursed Day (2022) and the genre-focused FOLKLORE (Horror/Thriller Anthology Episodic Series).
