Biography

  • Daniel has been in the industry for over 20 years. He started as an accounting clerk @ Sony Pictures Entertainment on the motion picture "S.W.A.T." directed by Clark Johnson and starred - Michelle Rodriguez, Colin Farrell, Samuel L. Jackson, James Todd Smith (aka-L.L. Cool J), Jeremy Renner to name a few. He then went on to work on various titles including some of the industry's biggest hits including: Spider-Man 3, Memoirs of a Geisha, Christmas Carol, Avatar and John Carter.

During his career, he has also worked in front of the camera and starred in, produced and co-wrote the independent short film "Poolside" in 2005. The film was directed by Craig Nisker and Johnny Derango served as the DP. This short film made its world-wide debut @ Sony Pictures Entertainment in 2005. His shift into post-production finance allowed him to gain hands-on experience and knowledge of the process that takes place after the cameras stop rolling. Working closely with VFX supervisors, post-production coordinators, Business Affairs and studio-level finance executives, Daniel has a truly in-depth understanding of the complex operation that encompasses completing a film. Recently, he was part of the post-production team for several Disney+ TV shows and currently (2024) works for Apple TV+ in the post-production Tax Incentive Department.
