Kat Bloom is a producer, creative executive, and media entrepreneur based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is the CEO and Managing Partner of Vault Studios, where she oversees projects across film and video production, visual effects, CGI, post-production, immersive audio, and emerging creative technology.
Her work focuses on building stronger production and post-production infrastructure in New Mexico. Through Vault Studios, Bloom supports workflows including compositing, assistant editing, conform, VFX plate management, ADR, color, sound mixing, and Dolby Atmos production. She also develops workforce and mentorship opportunities designed to connect emerging artists and technicians with hands-on industry experience.
Bloom is the founder of Bloom Records and Executive Director of H.i. New Mexico, a nonprofit advancing education and workforce development at the intersection of human creativity, media, and technology. She also serves as President of New Mexico Women in Film and Chair of the New Mexico Small Business Regulatory Advisory Commission.
With more than 15 years of experience in marketing, business development, creative strategy, and production, Bloom works across the entertainment, technology, nonprofit, and economic-development sectors. Her broader mission is to expand access to professional production resources, strengthen New Mexico’s creative economy, and create sustainable pathways for the next generation of filmmakers, musicians, and digital artists.
