Sven Granlund, is an International Makeup and Makeup Effects Artist, from Lexington Kentucky and Los Angeles California. Sven has almost 40 years working experience in makeup and is know for such movies as Deadpool 1 & 2, Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle, and The Cello, Saudi Arabia's first and only Horror movie directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. Sven taught makeup and prosthetics for over 4 years in Los Angeles Additionally Sven is a Commercial Pilot/Flight Instructor, and Musician/Synth Player releasing music since the 1980s.

Got interested in makeup after watching Universal Studios The Wolfman. Snuck into the Exorcist in 1973, at age 8, just to see Dick Smith's makeupfx. Has done makeup since he was 8 years old and worked on Highschool and College school plays as a makeup artist.

Was a commercial Airline Pilot and is still a current Certified Flight Instructor for both single and Multi Engine. Quit the airlines to pursue his lifelong passion for Makeup Effects and Film Production.

Was in a funk band in the 1980s and has played keyboards (synthesizers) and recorded with groups such as Sly Fox, Midnight Star, Guy, Tony Toni Tone. has worked with Producers George Clinton, Teddy Riley, Dave Spradley. Had a recording studio in Cincinnati OH named Midwest Records and produced Singer Wand Rash from the band Roger and Zapp.

Worked as a DJ for a Kentucky Radio station and a forensic digital image analyst as well as a photo retouch er.
