Biography

Brett Flynn was born in Duncan, Oklahoma. His family moved to Tulsa when Brett was two years old. His father was a petroleum engineer in the oil business, which is why Brett pursued a career in the oil & gas industry working in both corporate offices and oil fields in South Louisiana, Texas, California & Oklahoma as well as the corporate offices.

After the domestic oil industry slowed down considerably in the early 1990s, Brett dabbled in real estate and consulting. A lifetime movie and TV buff, Brett always had a latent interest to get into film, but never pursued it. One day, in his thirties, he woke up and realized he wasn't getting any younger. There was something missing that he always wanted to try. As he put it "I was going through a midlife crisis and I'm not even middle aged yet!" So Brett decided to become an actor.

After a trip to Hollywood, Brett got a good taste of the film business. He came back to Oklahoma and started concentrating in his local market. Brett took acting classes and specialized workshops for film acting along with a little community theater. Brett began, little by little, to build credits.

When Brett signed up with different talent agencies both local and regional he began to get gigs in commercials, industrial training films & independent films. He had acted in several movies which starred well known Hollywood actors.

Brett took another trip to L.A. during the pilot season in the winter of 2003. After networking with local casting agencies in the L.A. scene, Brett was able to appear on popular TV series shows such as The West Wing, Crossing Jordan, and Mr. Sterling.

Along with acting, Brett decided become a filmmaker and start producing his own films. Shortly after starting his own production company Golden Wing Films, Brett teamed up with the Russian director Peter Zhmutski of PZ Production.
