Biography

Eurasian with dual french and Vietnamese origins, Anne-Solenne Hatte was first discovered by French photographer Jean Baptiste Huynh, whose photos of her attracted her first agent. She appears in advertising for Cartier, Biotherm, Levis, and enrolled in Paris V and the Sorbonne University while she still worked as an actress and model. Her career began with the channel Canal +, which opened the gate for television. With the success of the concept of JT Decale, Anne-Solenne became the new face and anchor, of iTele's daily show. In charge of programming for a year, Anne-Solenne was inspired by alternative videos on the web and press pictures, and chose interesting guests such as Erik Orsenna, Claude Sarraute for Women's day. Although the show's a success and she greatly enjoys journalism, Anne-Solenne is determined to pursue her long-standing passion for acting. She captures Steven Soderbergh's attention and made her big-screen debut on Ocean 12. Then she attended the prestigious Drama School of Jean-Laurent Cochet in Paris for three years. Jean-Laurent Cochet directed her on stage as Eurydice - the main part in the eponymous play - and as Gwendoline in Becket, both by french author Jean Anouilh. She also stared in the 2010 Folie Theatre production of Talking with Angels, the true story of Gitta Mallasz, in Paris. In 2012 she played Juliet in a new production of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet directed by Baptiste Belleudy, in Paris. In 2012 she appeared in the beginning of Lock Out before her character was killed. The film is directed by James Mathers and Stephen St. Leger. Release April 2012.
