Kenyon Grey is an award-winning screenwriter, recording artist, producer, director, composer, and retired professional firefighter whose work spans film, television, and music.
Most recently, Grey released the country single "Go Jesus!", produced by James Sinclair-Stott (Nashville Music Works) and released to radio by Red Country Music Group. The song is currently airing on more than 400 radio stations across America, continuing Grey’s momentum in the Christian and country music markets.
Grey’s previous single, "When Angels Cry," was featured in NBC promotional spots and aired during Seasons 23 and 24 of The Voice. The accompanying music video was picked up by The Country Network, while the song reached 6th Place in Rolling Stone Magazine’s America’s Next Top Hitmaker competition.
Grey is the creator and screenwriter of Life in the Key of G, a character-driven, multi-generational musical drama series whose pilot reached the Semi-Finals of the Christian, Faith, Hope & Love Screenplay and Film Competition. Through Sea Lion Global Films, LLC, he continues developing original projects including Taming the Beast (co-written with Thurane Aung Khin), Beacons (co-written with his son, Austin Shea Long), Kaleidoscope, and A Fairy’s Tale. His screenplays have earned recognition from the BlueCat Screenplay Competition and the Beverly Hills Screenplay Contest.
Following retirement from the fire service, Grey signed screenwriting contracts with Premier Management and a recording contract with RCM Records. His nationally charting single "Heaven In Your Eyes," co-written with Thurane Aung Khin, earned him a Top 10 Artist of the Year Award through the Christian Country Music Association.
Grey’s film credits include music placement, producing, screenwriting, and directing, highlighted by his feature film The Whistler, which remains in distribution. His work consistently explores family, identity, resilience, redemption, and the complexities of the human condition.
