He earned a degree in Creative Advertising, developing a strong foundation in storytelling, branding, and visual communication. Following graduation, Joey entered the corporate recruiting space, where he hired and collaborated with a wide range of talented individuals across multiple industries-an experience that sharpened his people skills, organization, and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
Driven by a long-standing passion for film and television, Joey made a deliberate career transition into production. He completed an immersive hands-on program at WCNY PBS Syracuse, where he gained practical experience across key departments including grip and electric, set decoration, props, special effects, rigging and more. The program provided a comprehensive understanding of on-set workflows and prepared him to contribute effectively in professional production environments.
Joey continues to explore the many facets of film, television, and comedy while focusing on creating new work. In his spare time you can find him at open mics all around town passionately pursuing stand up comedy.
