She spent her junior high and high school years in local community theaters, participating in summer camps, where she portrayed roles such as Drizella in Cinderella Jr., a Storyteller and a Blind Mouse in Shrek The Musical Jr., Snake and Lyrical Dancer in Children of Eden Jr., among others.
