Tamara Pavicevic

Tamara Pavicevic is a film director and producer with a focus on social commentary and genre research. Through her previous short fiction and documentary films, as well as video installations, she has dealt with the topics of cultural memory, the consequences of war, mental health and coping with trauma. She has participated in prestigious programs such as the documentary workshop Ateliers Varan and the Peace Congress Berlin, further emphasizing her commitment to social engagement through film. She completed her master's degree in film directing, and her thesis explored the intersection of feminist film theory and the characterization of female characters in horror films. She is the founder of a non-governmental organization focused on the development of cultural activities, promotion of human rights and environmental protection.
