Biography

Chung Chow was born on September 16, 1932 in Hong Kong. He was an actor and production manager, known for The Three Girl Fighters, Part 1 (1960), The Three Girl Fighters, Part 2 (1960) and Shui hu zhuan: Zhi qu sheng chen gang (1957). He was married to Chen Qihua. He died on July 4, 2025 in Hong Kong.

In 1955, Zhou Yu was introduced to the producer Huang Qinghua when he was shopping in a department store and introduced him to apply for the acting. It is said that when Zhou Yu first entered the film industry, he did not adapt to it for a while, and even planned to terminate the contract.

Later in life, due to the development of Cantonese films, Zhou Yu was transferred from an actor to a theater manager and a duty-free shop salesman.

Joined the entertainment industry in the 1950s and decided to retire in March 2020.
