- Was originally casted for the role Sevcan in TV series Parkta Bir Sonbahar Gunuydu (1981). But before the shooting, there were some bureaucratic problems and when these problems were solved, she and few actors had to leave the series because scheduling conflicts with their theatre projects and the series. As a result, the role Sevcan was portrayed by Sevda Demirel.
- Graduated from Istanbul University State Conservatory Theatre Department in 1980. Was one of the best students of Yildiz Kenter and one of the prominent actors of the Kenter Theatre in the 1980s.
- Grew up in Yedikule neighbourhood of Fatih, Istanbul.
- Due to her illness, she had to give up her role as Hayriye in Yabanci Damat (2004), after fourth episode of the series. Her role was taken over by Seray Gozler.
