Aris Veliziotis

Aris Veliziotis is a Greek singer, songwriter, and lyricist best known as the vocalist of the band Acropols. A dynamic stage presence with a warm, expressive voice, Veliziotis penned much of the group's material, blending melodic pop sensibilities with Greek lyricism that resonated with audiences of his era. Beyond music, he made appearances in a number of Greek films, where his natural screen charm and musical background translated into memorable supporting turns. His creative legacy continues through his family; he is the grandfather of filmmaker Christos Arfanis.
