Lasse Söderberg

Lasse Söderberg is a Swedish poet, author, translator, critic and performer. As a young man, he was a member of Metamorfosgruppen and was the first to debut at Metamorfos publishing house with "Anteckningar till ett eko/Notes to an Echo" (1952), dedicated to his friend the poet Paul Andersson. From 1987 to 2006, Söderberg was the initiator and general of the International Poetry Days in Malmö. The documentary "Poesigeneralen/The Poetry General" (2002) tells about his literary work and lyrical ear.
