Biography

Kristi Slager was born in Southbend, Indiana to her then Assistant Notre Dame Football Coach father and gifted Interior Designer mother. The young family moved to Columbus, Ohio three months later where Kristi spent most of her growing up years playing sports and exploring her artistic side in local theater. Kristi graduated from Upper Arlington High School and went on to graduate from Buter University in Indianapolis, Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater Performance. Shortly after, she drove cross-country to Los Angeles, U-haul in tow, to make her dreams come true in Hollywood.

Won her prominent and well-respected agent, H. David Moss, by hand-delivering small potted trees to his office on a regular basis for a year. There, she became known as "The Tree Girl," until Moss called her in and signed her on the spot. One of these trees still thrives in his Hollywood office.

One of five siblings - all with names that start with "K." From oldest to youngest: Kelly, Kristi, Kyle, KC, and Kirby.

Richard Slager, her father, was the starting quarterback for Notre Dame in 1975. His second string was Joe Montana.

Her sister, Kelly Elizabeth, is Senior Designer for the very popular Limited Brand Lingerie Company, Pink.
