Biography

A graduate of the University of Southern California and with more than 20 years of experience in the film and digital imaging industry, Lyndel Crosley launched his career with an internship in Century Cable's public access division. There he harnessed his foundational skills in camera work, production, editing and engineering. Following his internship, Century Cable promoted Crosley to working in its Master Control as a videotape operator.

As part of NBC, KTLA and Reuter's award-winning crews, Crosley covered groundbreaking stories, including the Northridge Earthquake, the OJ Simpson trial, the Atlanta Olympics, the Democratic National Convention in Los Angeles, and multiple award ceremonies such as the Oscars and the Emmys. Crosley spent more than 10 years in the field as a camera operator, microwave and satellite technician, where he learned the skills to be a digital imaging technician.

Crosley has been a member of the Society of Camera Operators, the Digital Cinema Society, and International Cinematographers Guild, which in 2009 invited him to assist in creating its protocol for Data Management and Digital Imaging Technicians.

With his experience utilizing color and imaging software, Crosley is seasoned in creating the best images ready for the post pipeline.

Crosley earned the privilege of working on award-winning shows and critically acclaimed movies. He has worked alongside directors of photography Checco Varese, Michael Negrin and Terry Stacey, and directors Clark Craig, Davis Guggenheim, and Alicia Keys, to name a few. Crosley continues to lend his expertise with the ever-growing file sizes and media requirements on digital sets worldwide.
