Ece Yorenc born on October 20th, Istanbul- Turkey, attended Ankara University, Language History and Geography Faculty. Her career as a scriptwriter started in 1992.

In 2005 the Drama "Yaprak Dökümü" ('Fallen Leaves') which was a prime time Tv adaptation of a famous classical Turkish Novel, was the turning point for her career. The drama lasted for 5 Turkish seasons and achieved enormous success in Turkey. Her other Drama hits were TV series for Turkish television stations.. Such as 'Menekse-Halil', 'Ask-i Memnu' ('Forbidden love'), 'Fatmagül'ün Suçu ne?' 'Fatmagul'), 'Kuzey Güney', 'Medcezir' ('O.C.'), 'Kurt Seyit and Sura', 'Cesur ve Güzel' ('Brave and Beautiful')...

All of these prime time Dramas had a great effect in the lives of million of people in Turkey. Then the worldwide success came.
