Sunita Dube
Dr. Sunita Dube is a celebrated Indian MD Radiologist, humanitarian, and healthcare reformist, widely recognized as the People's President of CPR. With a legacy built on compassion and innovation, she has received honors from multiple Presidents of India and was mentored by the late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.
She made history in 2008 as the youngest radiologist to lead the "Save the Girl Child" campaign, launching India's first Girl Child Anthem and initiating a national movement toward gender equality. In 2014, she conceptualized the Fit India Movement, which was later adopted as a national wellness initiative by the Government of India, inspiring millions to embrace preventive healthcare.
Dr. Dube is the driving force behind the CPR Literacy Revolution, a nationwide campaign to equip India with life-saving skills. Under her leadership at MedScapeIndia, over 2 million citizens-including 100,000 children-have been trained in CPR, with a mission to make India the world's first CPR-trained nation by 2030.
As the founder of the MedScapeIndia National Awards, she has brought together 21 medical bodies to advocate for gender equality and healthcare awareness. Her work has also powered the Doctors' & Healthcare Professionals Safety Bill Movement, presented in Parliament more than 15 times, with support from 57 national bodies and over 8,000 institutions.
Her visionary initiatives include TARA Lifeline (an AI-based cancer care platform), the Statue of Immunity & Research Centre, national HIV awareness campaigns, and the long-term blueprint for Wellness Mission 2030. Dr. Dube's dedication continues to position her as a pioneering figure in global health, equality, and social impact.
