Fernando Lara was born in Laredo, Texas, to a Mexican Indian mother and a Native-American father. Fernando first walked onto the stage at age four at George Washington Carver Elementary school in Dallas, Texas. He has continued his stage career to this day, working in every capacity in the theater, from Actor, Stage Manager, Producer, and Sound Designer. Fernando made his television debut at age 5, appearing on the first three episodes of Sesame Street. Since graduating from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in 1982, Fernando has appeared in tv shows and films. Additionally, Fernando works behind the scenes in film and television, from stuntman to production assistant.
