Biography

Michaël was struck by a love of cinema as a child but, guided by a strong sense of pragmatism, opted to pursue a career in medicine instead. With the support of his wife and three adult children, Michaël is easing out of clinical medicine and focusing more and more on his first loves: acting, screenwriting and film production.

His breakout performance came when he was offered the lead role in the short film Frank's Confession, produced for the 2024 edition of the 48-hour Film Project (Ottawa), where he won accolades as Best Actor.

He will soon appear in the vertical drama series I Didn't Sign Up For This and the web pilot False Gods.
