Biography

Sanjay Shankar is an Indian re-recording mixer and mix and mastering engineer working primarily in the Kannada film industry, widely known as Sandalwood. he began his professional journey in 2014 from his studio, Sangeetha Mane, based in Mysuru. Growing up around music and audio production, Sanjay was inspired by his father’s recording company, Shaastha Live Cassettes, which influenced his interest in sound engineering from an early age. Over the years, he has contributed to several Kannada film projects, including *Blink*, *Kothalavadi*, *KD - The Devil*, and *45*, earning recognition for his work in sound mixing and mastering.
