Aaron Kaplan is an Executive Producer and the CEO of Kapital Entertainment, a production company he founded in 2009. Kapital Entertainment is a leading independent production company that produces a vast array of television and digital content for the broadcast, cable and streaming markets.

A graduate from University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business and a former teacher at the School of Cinematic Arts, Kaplan remains an active alum.

Prior to Kapital, Aaron Kaplan served as the Worldwide Head of Scripted Content at the William Morris Agency, where he was also on the Board of Directors.

Aaron Kaplan is a graduate of the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business and a former teacher at the School of Cinematic Arts where he remains an active alum. In March 2017, Kaplan and fellow USC alumni launched the "First Jobs" program at USC. The program provides recent Cinematic Arts graduates their first paid entry-level jobs in the entertainment industry. Since its launch, First Jobs has created over 200 jobs for USC alumni, of which Kaplan has personally hired 40.

Kaplan also sits on the Board of Directors for the Saban Community Clinic, and serves on the Board of Governors for Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

In 2017, Aaron Kaplan, Jeff Sagansky and Florence Sloan partnered with Apoorva Bakshi, Pooja Kohli and Sanjay Bachani of Film Karavan to form Golden Karavan, a mini-major that produces and distributes high-end and provocative Indian-themed episodic content. The production company's series "Delhi Crime Story," based on real-life events, premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and won several Asian Academy Awards, including Best Drama Series.
