Biography

Shubham Rana is an emerging actor and assistant director, originally from Chandigarh, now based in Mumbai, India. A Mechanical Engineering graduate from Chandigarh University, Shubham discovered his passion for the performing arts at an early age and has since been devoted to exploring creative storytelling through both acting and direction.

He began honing his craft through several years of theatre experience with the TFT Group Chandigarh, where he gained a strong foundation in stage performance and character development. Transitioning into screen work, he served as an Assistant Director on the popular television series Udaariyaan, under Dreamiyata Productions, further broadening his understanding of visual storytelling and on-set dynamics.

Born into a grounded and supportive family-his father a government employee with the HUDA department in Panchkula, Haryana, his mother a homemaker, and his elder brother serving as a Merchant Navy Officer-Shubham credits his family for instilling discipline and resilience in him.

Fuelled by a lifelong passion for acting and storytelling, Shubham is fully committed to building a meaningful career in the film and television industry. Whether in front of the camera or behind it, he brings sincerity, dedication, and a deep love for the craft to every project he takes on.
