- Bobby Ranger was born on August 10, 1946 in Vorselaar, Flanders, Belgium. He is an actor, known for Hitring (1980), Weet je nog? (1983) and Sjo Bis Time (1985).
- For the 50th birthday of King Baudouin, the Flemish singer Bobby Ranger made the song 'Boudewijn oh Boudewijn'. In the Flemish music program Hitring (1980), the song got a clip with a Bobby dressed in the national flag and black and white images of the King of the Belgians.
- His first English-language single, "When You marry me," dates from 1965.
- He played in the dance orchestra The Vickings since 1962, which later became Bobby's backing group.
