Had his first name legally changed to Ryback Allen Reeves.

As a kid, friends would nickname the Intercontinental Champion 'Silverback', due to his muscular frame resembling that of a gorilla. He combined that with part of his real name - Ryan Reeves - to create the intimidating moniker we all know today.

Reeves was forced to take a long break to undergo several ankle surgeries. He returned as Ryback in 2012, and embarked upon a 38-match unbeaten streak.

Upon joining FCW in late 2008, Ryback formed a formidable tag team with future WWE Champion Sheamus.

In OVW he was even given a single red contact lens to add to the non-human effect of his persona.

Was In A tag team named 'High Dosage' with Jon Bolen in 2006.

Played baseball in his freshman year at the Community College of Southern Nevada, and had aspirations of going pro, but saw his dream ended by an untimely leg break.

Started weightlifting at the age of 12.

Spent five years In WWE Developmental.

"Ryback" is also the name of Steven Seagal's character in Under Siege (1992).

Never got along with fellow WWE superstar John Cena. Despite any personal issues, Reeves has gone on to say that Cena is one of the best guys he has ever been in the ring with.

His 'Feed Me More' catchphrase started because he was being given local competitors and wanted main roster talents. One day he looked at Vince and screamed, "Feed me more!"'.
