Biography

Steve Brookstein was born on November 10, 1968 in Dulwich, London, England, UK. He is a talent agent. He has been married to Eileen Hunter since August 26, 2006. They have two children.

He won a million-pound recording contract from British talent search show The X Factor UK (2004) in December 2004. He had a UK number one single in 2005 with a cover of Phil Collins' classic 1984 song "Against All Odds". However, he failed to repeat the success with further hits and soon faded into obscurity.

He has a South African father and an Estonian mother.

He is the son of Errol Brookstein. He has two children, Hamish Alastair Brookstein (b. 7 April 2008) and Esme Malle Brookstein (b. 17 August 2012), with his wife Eileen.

His grandfather's cousin was dancer Rikki Septimus.
