Amaresh Sinha is an Indian singer and occasional actor, best known for the film Hukum, the TV series Chandradev, and Bandish Bandits on Amazon Prime. He was nominated for the best singer (Male ) in Rajasthani Films at RFF'25. He sang the title track of Chandradev - HariOm India's first mythological OTT platform & it was showcased at IMMPA Cannes Film Festival, Paris 2025 . He was also showcased as an artist at the JioSavaan x All About Music Open Mic '25 . He voiced the acclaimed Rajasthani lullaby "Raj Dulaari" from Hukum , praised as a much-needed addition to traditional bedtime music. His role in Bandish Bandits Season 2, where he shared screen space with Divya Dutta and Shreya Chaudhary, was also well received. He sang the "Ave Maria" song , onscreen in the season 2 . In 2025 he gave vocals for a Marathi film called Tipka which will hit the silver screens , and sang the love theme BGM for STAGE OTT film Bhomiya .
Born into a musical family, Amaresh began learning music at the age of 4 from his father, Adhir Ranjan Sinha, a renowned singer in Assam. He was deeply inspired by his grandfather, Pt. Motilal Singha, a legendary vocalist. Amaresh trained in Hindustani Classical Music, earned a double degree from Vishwakarma University, Pune, and studied Thumri under Dr. Ruchira Kedar. He also completed a Sound Engineering program at Mumbai Music Institute after moving to Mumbai in 2017.
Alongside music, Amaresh is deeply connected to cycling and nature, both of which he credits for nurturing his musical creativity and inner peace. He has participated in the State Level Road Cycling Championship, completed challenges like a 21-day cycling streak, and has been part of several rallies for nature and sustainability , including campaigns for Amul.
Amaresh is also passionate about giving back. During the 2022 Silchar floods, he and his friends raised funds by performing on the streets of Pune. He took part in a charity event organized by the Rotaract Club to provide sewing machines to widows - an initiative that earned a place in the India Book of Records.
He has exciting international music collaborations lined up.
