- Zolomon Zelko wandered into film school after getting lost on a college tour. A 2025 Student Academy Award nomination eventually followed, after a year-long tangent into animation school, a classical drama intensive, and going viral in Czechia via his illustrations of nude old men. He is a co-founder of a secret movement of mostly European illustrators with similar interests, called the Anthromystics (now defunct).
His true first medium was orchestra, and he goes home to music whenever he can. He plays a wide array of instruments poorly, and composes for film proficiently: symphonic, folk, cacophony, et cetera. His personal work is best described as cowboy swamp jazz fusion. His passion for noise extends to sound design, production, and recording.
He is in love with everything (within reason), and has a knack for managing the unreasonable. Some have described him as "very colorful."
