Dmitri Young was born on October 11, 1973 in Vicksburg, Mississippi, USA. He is an actor, known for Home Run Showdown (2012), WWE Survivor Series (2005) and 1996 National League Championship Series (1996).

Made major league debut on 29 August 1996.

Utility player with the St. Louis Cardinals (1996-1997), Cincinnati Reds (1998-2001), Detroit Tigers (2002-2006), and Washington Nationals (2007- ).

Announced retirement after suffering a torn hamstring in spring training. Young, who batted .292 with 171 homers and 683 RBIs in 13 seasons (1996-2008), has been hired by the Oakland County Cruisers of the Frontier League as vice president and senior advisor for baseball operations.
