Gerard López Busquets is a Catalan film director and producer whose work explores the boundaries between documentary and fiction through a poetic and visually-driven approach.
He studied Audiovisual Communication and Library and Information Science at the University of Barcelona, and later completed a Master's degree in Creative Documentary at Pompeu Fabra University.
Throughout his career, he has directed and produced short films, hybrid works, and audiovisual pieces that combine emotional depth, visual poetry, and a strong sense of narrative freedom. He is also one of the founders of Salva al Gato and La Chica del Limón, two independent initiatives focused on the creation of artistic and cultural audiovisual content.
