Jenna Bonofiglio
- Actress
Ever since she was a kid, Jenna dreamed of being two things: an actress and a teacher. In high school, she discovered a love for languages and thought, Why not do it all? So she triple-majored in Theatre, Spanish, and Secondary Education at Central College in Iowa. Since then, Jenna has followed a multi-passionate path - teaching high school Spanish for ten years, working summers as a Spanish medical interpreter, but always returning to her first love: acting.
Now a full-time actor, Jenna is guided by a strong foundation in theatre. She went through Milwaukee Repertory Theater's Emerging Professional Residency program and has performed at most of Milwaukee's professional theatres, most recently in 'Laughs in Spanish' at Milwaukee Chamber Theatre and 'Noises Off' at Skylight Music Theatre.
However, Jenna has worked primarily as an on-camera and voice actor in recent years, collaborating with a variety of regional, national, and international clients, including Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Bertolli, Kohl's, and the Wisconsin Lottery.
Over the past year, Jenna has started to move more into TV and film, In fall 2024, she booked the recurring (if picked up) role of Laura Bradley in the pilot 'Southside,' written and directed by Grant Housley. Most recently, Jenna starred in the short film 'Soccer Moms' alongside Amy Stricker. The film was directed by David Bradburn and will be coming soon to a film festival near you!
One of Jenna's unique abilities is her facility with other languages. English is her native language, she is fluent in Spanish and Italian, and is quickly becoming proficient in ASL. She also speaks Portuguese and French at an intermediate level, and has dabbled in German and Modern Greek! She has an excellent ear for dialects and is very musical - she sings and plays the piano, flute, and ukulele.
Jenna loves bringing a balance of humor and heart to the stage, screen, and airwaves, and hopes to bring a smile to your face one day soon.
