Won a New York Festivals Worldmedal in 2000 for 'A Big Day For Little Sarah', a children's radio play he wrote and produced.

Publisher & Editor of "Grip Magazine" (Gordon & Gotch Periodicals Inc. 2000).

Upon graduation from university, formed a sketch comedy troupe with Flashpoint (2008) creator Mark Ellis and Insecurity (2011) and Dan for Mayor (2010) creator Kevin White.

Writer & Illustrator for the bi-weekly satirical "Frank Magazine" (2004).

Graduated from Ryerson University in Toronto with a degree in Radio and Television Arts.

[on _Grip Magazine (2000)] What fascinated me is that right from the earliest days of politics in Canada we were ridiculing our public figures. By using the name 'Grip' we're sort of acknowledging the rich history of satire in Canada and continuing that.

I became interested in Bollywood when Devdas (2002) came out. It introduced me to a new way of making films.

[on_Lategan Media Group (2013)_] We want to help a variety of independent pictures reach their box office potential. We think this will become the model for the Canadian industry and Lategan Media Group intends to get there first.

[on _the viability of independent films (2013)] What we're saying is that any film can be [commercially] viable. A million dollar Canadian film can be viable, because it doesn't need to do $100 million at the box office to break even.

[on_the Canadian feature film industry (2013)_] The feature film industry hasn't come anywhere near its potential, and part of the reason for that is that it's not perceived as a moneymaker, and rightly so, because there's no emphasis on marketing.
