Biography

Ivan Sherry is a Toronto-based actor and award-winning voice performer known for his work across film, television, animation, and AAA video games. He won a 2024 One Voice Award for Best Character Performance (Animation) for "Saving Me", where he voices lead character Old Bennett Bramble, and has also received an ACTRA Award nomination, a SOVAS Award nomination, and a further One Voice nomination. In 2026, he drew notable attention for his portrayal of Günter Van Ellis in the series finale of Amazon Prime Video’s "The Boys", a performance that immediately became part of the broader cultural conversation surrounding the show’s conclusion. Later this year, Sherry appears in Amazon Prime's Cassius Clay bio-series "The Greatest", as well as "Blindly Victorious", the Victoria Nolan story. Other credits include a recurring role as Scotty Pullover in "Fargo" (opposite Ewan McGregor), as well as appearances in "Orphan Black", "Cardinal", "Murdoch Mysteries", and "The Frankie Drake Mysteries". In animation, he is best known as the voice of the 2015 Inspector Gadget reboot, as well as Drac in Season 2 of "Hotel Transylvania: The Series" and Winston in "Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go". His video game work includes major franchises such as "Star Wars Outlaws", Watch Dogs, Far Cry, Deus Ex, The Crew, The Division, Splinter Cell, and 7 Assassin's Creed games. Born in London, England, and based in Toronto, Sherry works across Canadian and international productions, and is grateful for the opportunity to teach acting to up-and-coming artists at three post-secondary institutions in Toronto.
