First movie role was as an extra in Woody Allen's feature film New York Stories (1989). Sarah had to roller skate in Central Park behind Woody Allen. The two days Sarah was to film the scene, it poured rain and the scene was cut. She still got paid and was reimbursed for her brand new roller skates.

Hosted a show with Kyle Gass from Tenacious D (1997) for General Motors. Sarah and Kyle traveled to rock festivals around the world - interviewing bands like Metallica, Radiohead, Foo Fighters, Dave Matthews Band, Nine Inch Nails, Ye, and so many more. (May 2008)
