  • Lawyer hired by Walt Disney in 1930 to help protect the copyrights of Mickey Mouse. He eventually became a company vice president and general counsel, and was a member of the board of directors from 1938 to 1964. One of his pre-Disney claims to fame was as an advisor to Mexican revolutionary Pancho Villa.
