- Emily Charouhas was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley suburbs of Los Angeles, CA. A writer and performer since birth, she started working in session singing at eight, acting professionally at ten, and had her first original play produced at the age of thirteen. Her first feature film, Artificial Flowers, was based on a subsequent original play staged in Los Angeles in 2016. Film, writing and music have always been equally crucial parts of her life and she continues to write in all forms, produce film, finagle her way into stage productions, and make original music when she is not terribly busy cooking or monopolizing dive bar karaoke.
