Band consists of: Ben Burnley (lead singer/guitar), Aaron Fink (guitar), Markus James (bass), and Chad Szeliga.

Has four albums, Saturate released in 2002, We Are Not Alone in June of 2004, Phobia, released on August 8, 2006, and Dear Agony released on September 29, 2009. Dear Agony sold 134,000 copies in its first week, which made it the fastest selling and highest charting Breaking Benjamin album to date. As of February 16, 2010, "Dear Agony" has been certified Gold by the RIAA The first single from Phobia was "The Diary Of Jane". The second single was "Breath". The first single off of Dear Agony was "I Will Not Bow", featured in the Bruce Willis film "Surrogates" The second single was "Give Me A Sign".

They have released two RIAA certified Gold albums with both later going platinum. Their debut began slowly but eventually sold over 300,000 copies in the United States.

Burnley used to play covers in coffee shops, and taught himself guitar by listening to Nirvana's Nevermind
